My name is Rebecca,

Thank you for visiting my website.

Starting counselling can be nerve-wracking, in our sessions I will create a calm, safe and non-judgemental space for us to explore together what has led you here.

Counselling is a form of talking therapy which provides an opportunity for you to talk about any issues or problems you are facing, it can help you to gain clarity and a new perspective or understanding of yourself and your life experiences.

I offer a 15 minute phone conversation for you to ask any questions you may have and for us to briefly discuss your reasons for coming to counselling. We will decide together whether we are the right fit for one another and proceed from there.

A Person-Centred Approach

I am a person-centred counsellor. This means that I hold the belief that you already have within you the capacity to change. My role is to provide the conditions for this change to occur. Imagine a plant, all plants have the capacity to grow but not without the right soil, water, light and nourishment. I would be privileged to be alongside you in this process and create a nourishing space for you to grow. I won’t guide you or tell you what to do, I will listen, hold space and be non-judgemental.
